Airport silhouettes

I came across these photos while going through my archive recently. These photos reminded me of how much time I spent traveling last year. Seven months to be exact. That is a lot of flying and a lot of airports.
Airports are about two things for me: queuing and waiting. Really, that is what air travel is about. Oh, and delayed flights, missed connections and always feeling dehydrated no matter how much water you drink while in transit.
Don’t get me wrong – it is a privilege to travel and it is something I enjoy. There is nothing quite like leaving the familiarity of where you live and landing in new country, where everything is just so new and different.
