Island Art: Lost and Found article in the July 2010 edition of Bangkok Airways Magazine.
I’ve really enjoyed working with the creative team that produce Fah Thai Magazine for Bangkok Airways.
When I first approached them late last year, they advised me that the magazine was going to have a layout over haul in early 2010, with a cleaner design and better layout.
When I saw the first new edition, I was impressed with the layout. Unlike some magazines, the layout placed equal emphasis on photography and text, which is always great to see as a visual content provider.
The July 2010 issue featured two one page articles on the Maldives, which I wrote and photographed.
Island Art: Lost and Found provides a brief history on lacquerware in the Maldives. The Maldives Itinerary piece focussed on the recent move by the Maldives Government to extend the shark fishing ban from the 25-protected marine areas, to the entire country.
