Farewell Greece

In two hours time we will board our eighth ferry and return to Turkey after an amazing 3 1/2 weeks in Greece.
While the four islands we visited – Lesvos, Ikaria, the Fourni Islands and Samos – are all unique in there own way, it has been the random encounters with friendly Greek locals that have left the deepest memories of this place.
I hope the elections, which are being held today, bring some economic certainty to the people of this country.
