[Currently in Baku and back in the land of internet. Some posts from the last couple of days to follow...]

We left Tbilisi on Saturday afternoon on the night train to Baku, Azerbaijan.

Leaving Georgia wasn’t a problem, but we did get our bags searched at the Azerbaijan border post. Very little English seems to be spoken in Azerbaijan, so I am thankful I know some basic Russian (which is improving each day).

Hello Azerbaijan! The train trip into Baku is characterized by an endless desert expanse dotted with old and new industry.
