After a thoroughly unremarkable night and morning in Mytilene, we hopped on a bus for a two hour journey to the end- of-the-road village of Mythos.
Situated on the north coast of Lesvos island, Mythos is a beautiful Greek village located on a northerly facing hill. This place clearly gets busy in the summer season, but for now it is blissfully quite.
The prominent building with the chimney on the right side of the photo below, was once an olive oil factory. Since then, it has been converted into a hotel.
